Technology today is a powerful tool which you can use to get information at the speed of light.  You may have been seeing some strange looking boxes on some everyday products you use, in magazines, on posters and other advertising materials.  These are QR Codes and they hold information that you can view directly on your smart phone.

QR Code ScanYou will start seeing QR codes on some of our Centre City Properties materials. They will hold a variety of information.  Everything from contact information to videos and links to property websites.  We want to use these QR Codes to get you the information you need right into your hands as fast as we can get it there.  Ever see a property that was for sale and grabbed the open house flyer that just has a phone number but you want to get the details now?  With these QR Codes you can see the property details, videos and more right from your smart phone in just seconds.  Here is how it work . . .

How QR Codes Work

  1. You scan the QR Code using your smart phone. The QR Code software analyzes the image to get the encoded information.
  2. The decoded information is then displayed on your smart phone.  It can be in the form of a video, text, website, contact information and much more.

Greetings

This week began with the observance of the 10th Anniversary of 9/11.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who lost their lives and with their families, friends and co-workers, whose lives were forever changed.

As for economic news the opportunity remains for Buyers to get a mortgage at a historical low rate.  Freddie Mac reported national average mortgage rates set new records lows last week.  However according to most observers, Buyers should not expect further rate dips.  Lenders are seeing plenty of loan volume, so there is no need to lower pricing to garner more activity.

Fannie Mae’s August National Housing Survey showed 69% of Americans polled say now is a good time to buy a home.  In spite of all the conversations about more price declines, people expect home prices to dip only 0.5% in the next year.  Some observers feel we’re at the bottom now.  Additionally there is a strong belief that rents will increase in the next year, that could motivate purchases as well.

As always should you have any questions or would like to set up an appointment to view properties, do not hesitate to call our office or email me at patricia@centrecityproperties.com.  You may also visit our website at www.centrecityproperties.com for daily updates and to stay engaged in the downtown real estate market.

If you wish to switch to a paperless version, simply email “OVERVIEW” to stephanie@centrecityproperties.com.

Sincerely,

CENTRE CITY PROPERTIES
